The Democratic Tech Fund is an initiative currently in development mode, building the structures it will eventually be governed by.
Where we are
We're in development mode: founding the federation, piloting the services, and putting the governance in place. Today's Council seeds the assemblies and elections that will run the DTF in future.
A note on funding
The DTF facilitates funding between funders and communities. It never holds grant funds itself. Money flows directly, with the DTF providing the methodology, matchmaking and accountability.
